According to Cmune, this will cut back on the pain players might otherwise have in their thumbs or arms after long sessions. Since FPS games tend to have fairly complex controls, the folks at Cmune have accounted for that with a "multi-touch" control option for the new tablet versions of the game. Upgrades are available for purchase in the store, or players can simply level up their established character by continuing to play the game.

UberStrike sees players choosing from a variety of maps and gameplay modes as they tear each other to pieces with a slew of modern weaponry. Now, this free-to-play first person shooter is available to download on both iPad and Android tablets, opening up the world of futuristic combat to so many more gamers. It turns out that there's a huge market for free to play shooters though, as Cmune's UberStrike has amassed over 10 million players on the web (the game is available on Facebook, for one). I like both of those games and I think that UberStrike has a lot of unique aspects to it and it blends the good from both Combat Arms and Unreal in a unique, fun and stylish way.ĭo check this game out and leave what you think about it in the comments below. When gamers think of "first person shooters," the words free-to-play likely aren't the next thought. 🙂Įven though I compare this game to Combat Arms and Unreal Tournament, that’s not a bad thing in my opinion. In that sense, the game is very rewarding. It has one of the best loading times of any of the Unity games I have played so far and can be enjoyable for a while, especially if you have a huge awesome axe to smash into some bunny-hoppers face. It has a japanese-anime twist to it, and they change the name from Paradise Paintball to UberStrike. The gameplay is, like I said, somewhere between Unreal Tournament and Combat Arms. The game has also had several total redos of all of the maps, and only a few of the old ones still remain. Now the game has a lot of great gear for both free-players and payers and has a huge amount of guns, making more rewarding to level up.

When i played it before it had few maps and the good gear was reserved for people willing to slap down some money for microtransactions. It has Headshots and Nutshots (Yay!) like Combat Arms.

The game has grown a lot and now has a lot better of a system for buying weapons and leveling up. Like I said, I have played this game on and off for a while and have watched it go from a very simple game that played like Unreal Tournament to a game that evolved to be somewhere between Unreal and Combat Arms. It runs off the Unity Web Player right in your browser. It’s a 3D browser-based multiplayer FPS very similiar to Combat Arms. A game that I have been playing on and off for a while is Paradise Paintball.
